The method of awarding points will be:
Win: 30 points
Tie: 26 points
Draw Faster average run-rate per over: 12 points plus bonus points
Equal
average run-rate per over: 6points
plus bonus points
Lower
average run-rate per over: 3 points plus
bonus points
No result (Cancelled 10
points or number of bonus points,
whichever the greater
and abandoned matches)
Batting bonus points 2 points for the
first 75 runs, and an additional two points for every 25 runs up to 175. The team batting first can only bat for
maximum of 55 overs.
Half the above points for the side batting second.
Bowling bonus points 1 point for 2, 4, 6,
8 & 9 wickets.
In the event of a team not fulfilling a fixture the full 30 points are
awarded to the opposition and 30 points will be deducted from both teams of the
offending club.
Officials
Panel Umpires will be appointed for First-Eleven matches in Division 1
and 2. Due to the influx of panel
umpires to the league, some games in Division 1 – 2nd Elevens will
also have umpires appointed on a rota basis.
All fees to be paid to the Umpires before the start of the game.
Any Club without a scorer
must ensure that someone is present to score when they bat.
The Home Captain (or his deputy) must e-mail the result to Carolyn Pritchard for Division One and Two and Muks Rabadia
for Division Three and Four at two
separate E-mail addresses by 8.00pm on the Sunday evening using
the template that the Result Secretary will send and CLOSELY followed as it contains THE ONLY information required. Be aware of the Administrative Penalties
listed in the 2009 Handbook.
Reports Cards (sample enclosed) are to be e-mailed to the Registration Secretary by 6.00 p.m. on the
Monday following.
