Can bowl effectively when required and good for breaking up partnerships, best bowling figures of 4 for 27 against Winchmore Hill. Famously known for getting himself, Pat and Margaret chucked out of the Weatherspoons on a club tour to Skegness.

Another young and versatile all rounder, a fast bowler with a quick arm delivery, a true match winner on his day. A lower middle order batsman with powerful strokes to all parts of the ground. An excellent fielder with a safe pair of hands. Always competitive and never has a sad face. Over 60 career wickets to date.

Joined the club in 2004
A quality attacking opening batsman who has formed a very successful partnership with his partner Rakesh. Good in the field and usually catches everything that comes his way. On his day if required can bowl either leg spin or medium pace. His batting has delighted all who see it apart from the opposition bowlers and has quickly scored over 1200 runs in his short time with the club. The very life and soul of the party but a very humble and likeable guy who loves playing for any side. Will be deeply missed by the club at the end of 2005 season.

Opening fast bowler who on his day with his pace and ability to extract bounce on any surface can be a match winner on his own. Keith's batting nickname says it all "The whirling Dervish"

Talented all rounder with his best years in front of him. Solid technically correct middle order batsman with all the strokes in the book. An occasional off break bowler and excellent in the field. Chooses to spend his time with Exiles, more the pity for Fives CC.

Another of Tilt's recruits and quickly established himself as a very useful
addition to the team. Quality top order batsman and on his day a handy bowler,
although did not get many opportunities to bowl. Will be missed by the boys.

Opening batsman who maintains huge concentration when batting and occasionally used as an medium pace bowler. However, be warned his powers of concentration do tend to drift when fielding.

Jim Fenwick
Joined Fives CC mid / end of season 2004
Introduced to the club through Tim but has hardly played many games for us. A
steady batsman who can wicket keep but has not had many opportunities to shine
behind the stumps (Jim has bowled more in the games he has played) . We would
like to see more of him in the coming seasons.

Pavan Akkireddypalli
Joined the club in 2004
And has quickly developed into a quality all rounder. A talented
opening swing bowler with a relaxed style which transfers into his
stylish batting technique. He had not scored a competitive 50 before
he joined the club, but in 2004 scored a quite breathtaking 154
not out. A gifted cricketer who is always smiling and working hard
on the field.

Tim Bateman
Joined Fives in 2004
Fast Bowler and solid middle order batsman who possesses a passion
for winning and definitely not coming second. Tim's broad shoulders,
harness a mean quick ball that catches many a good unawares. A batsman
with the ability to build innings but also take apart attacks when
required. A great competitor who gets the best out of the others by
his own example.

Simon Hatherwell

A character!! A chance meeting in a pub with our club treasurer
and the rest is history. Tilt has been responsible for introducing
new players and friends to the club and for organising a cricket tour
to Australia in January 2005. A very nice person and very talented
cricketer. Joined as a keeper but was quickly (very quickly) transformed
into a batting all-rounder. Is always welcome back to fives on the
assumption he continues to introduce new players to the club at regular
intervals. This guy is a legend.
